The Lack of Infrastructure

Central to the issue of growth in underperforming third world countries is the development of the private sector.  Without the creation of jobs and businesses, there is no real chance for the populace of third world countries to raise their standard of living.  Extensive surveys have shown that private sector businesses, especially the small to medium size entrepreneurial businesses, are the most productive way of creating employment and providing a process for the indicial as well as the entire populace to raise their standard of living.  The Opis Foundation can help address  key constraints identified by these surveys: The lack of infrastructure,  power and roads, a monetary fund to assist in the financing of solid business plans and by providing education in key areas of business management and development.
