As contributors, how can you be confident that your donation is being properly managed and is being used for humanitarian benefit?

The OPIS Foundation's Internal Audit And Security Program

The Audit team is audited by one of the top accounting firms in the world once a year.  

As stated earlier, a diligent effort to maximize the efficiency in the use of its financial, equipment and personnel resources is a crucial element needed to insure that every penny is utilized to benefit the program it is intended for and that the Opis Foundations goals are being met at all times. Opis Foundation's approach to achieving this goal is through an aggressive internal audit and security program.

Our audit staff will review all transactions for best value for the money spent.  Guidelines are in place to monitor employee relationships with suppliers, government officials, and associates for proper protocol. Material and services usage will be scrutinized to determine effective usage through an elaborate purchase order system. All expenses and employee activities, and salaries are reviewed and checked on a continuing basis to insure that expenses are appropriate and within established guidelines.
