The OPIS Foundation is a "not-for-profit" organization with a commitment to create job opportunities around the world. With jobs comes wealth and health. As more jobs and wealth are created, we create a more stable and peaceful world.
While the idea of starting a humanitarian foundation has been with us for many years, the Foundation was finally created in 2008 after we returned from a trip to Sierra Leone where we experienced first hand how difficult it is for the Sierra Leoneans to live decently.
Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world and justifiably the very first country that benefits from the actions of our Foundation. We intend to extend rapidly our actions to Bolivia as well as other countries on both the African and South American continents. As the projects spearheaded by the Foundation are completed, we will expand our humanitarian actions to other poor countries around the world.
